It’s official, the Toyota Rav4 EV will see production and will start at $49,800. This brand new EV is capable of 100 miles on a single charge and reach 60 mph in 6.8 seconds.

The 2013 Lexus ES 350 and ES 300h is set to be unveiled at the 2012 New York International Auto show. The new ES will uphold many characteristics of previous models but now has a bold new look to go along with Lexus’ current design language. the 2013 ES will also have an available hybrid model that is estimated to achieve an EPA rating of 40mpg.
The Prius C has already out sold many competing hybrids from other manufacturers and will soon hit the streets with the full TRD treatment. The kit will include a bodykit, shocks, springs, and wheels with Toyota Racing inspiration.
The Yaris Hybrid has not yet been released but is currently on display at the Geneva Motor Show. The Yaris will share the same power plant as the Prius C which makes this little city car capable of 99hp and 70mpg. Read the rest of this entry »
Toyota’s striking concept the NS4 is part of a design experiment to create a midsized hybrid for worldwide release by 2015. The NS4 is a plug in hybrid but will not be part of the Prius family. When this model does go into production it will have the most efficient hybrid synergy system available.
